Biza'ushesha Delivery Program

Biza’ushesha is a hyperlocal delivery initiative designed to stimulate youth employment in townships and rural communities. By leveraging local drivers, on-foot delivery agents, and smart tech, the program creates meaningful job opportunities while helping small businesses reach more customers quickly and affordably. Whether it’s food, groceries, or essential goods — Biza’ushesha empowers young people to earn an income while connecting communities through mobility, convenience, and speed.

Eyes in the Sky for Service Accountability Smart drone units will be dispatched to assess and document infrastructure issues in real-time — from burst pipes to road damage. The captured data improves response time, supports evidence-based repairs, and adds transparency to municipal service delivery.

Our AgriTech drones assist small-scale and emerging farmers with field monitoring, crop health analysis, and data-driven decision-making. It’s smart farming designed to improve yields and secure food systems in rural South Africa.

Digital Science Laboratory

Virtual Reality Labs for Real-World Learning Equipped with VR headsets, our Digital Science Labs allow learners to conduct virtual experiments and experience science in 3D — no matter their school's infrastructure. This tech leap ensures students in under-resourced schools don’t miss out on quality science education.

Learning That Meets Students Where They Are Deployed directly into schools, these interactive displays offer learners free access to SmartStudyZA — our educational service on the DEI HUB App. From STEM content to AI-powered tutoring and mental health tools, we’re transforming classrooms into smart learning zones.

Ray Nkonyeni Municipality

In a 3-month pilot with Ray Nkonyeni Municipality, the DEI Hub aided 200 businesses with resources and digital integration. Alongside Durban University of Technology, a 1-week Digital Literacy Training Program introduced remote work opportunities, awarding certificates. Partnering with OVICO, a super app, and supported by the Technology Innovation Agency, entrepreneurs accessed the digital marketplace, enhancing digital adoption. The pilot’s success with these partners confirmed the DEI Hub’s scalable model for impactful business growth.
